University School of Basic and Applied Sciences brings to you a National Symposium on “Innovations in Composites for General Purpose to High End Applications”, an event which will take people on a voyage into the world of Science and Technology. The symposium will comprise of talks by experts from various academic organizations and national laboratories of India and various other countries as well.

The symposium shall focus on growth in the area of structured materials and composites which necessitates bringing together researchers from various fields of science, engineering and technology as well as the industrialists to discuss the latest developments, share knowledge and to make strategies to meet the future challenge. This is an opportunity to address all these issues; in order to keep in pace with global development; and to sharpen our research and development programs. The symposium is being organized in collaboration with the Materials Research Society of India (Delhi Chapter and Composites Subject Group) and is supported by DRDO etc.

The symposium shall focus on the following points:

  • Reinforcements including nanoreinforcements and matrix systems.
  • Synthesis and processing of nanomaterials and composites for Bio-implants, structural, electronics, energy and health sectors.
  • High performance polymers, metals and ceramic matrix composites for space and strategic applications.
  • Concretes and structural composites.
  • Composities for environmental applications
  • Characteristics, properties, applications, commercialization and policy planning.
